New education in fundamental wind power technology

In collaboration with the Chalmers-based Swedish Wind Power Technology Centre, SWPTC, Chalmers Professional Education has designed a two-day course in fundamental wind power technology.

The course covers, for example, the role of wind power in the electrical power system, and aspects such as the permit process, communication with the public, and the different steps in the project development.

“Our ambition is to give the course participants an insight into wind power as a whole,” says Ola Carlson, who is responsible for the activity at SWPTC. “In the education we combine theory and practice in order to build up an understanding of wind power’s future possibilities and challenges.”

The course “Wind power – renewable energy in a new way” is addressed to active professionals who have recently begun, or will begin, to work with wind power and need an introduction to the area.

The first course starts on 8 November 2011. For more information (in Swedish) and to apply, click here!
